Josh started his career working on the production floor at Procter & Gamble as a young man. He was always an artist at heart, and later climbed the ladder to becoming a world-class tattoo artist with over 25 years of experience. He even went on to create Iowa's premier tattoo studio, Platinum Rose Studio & Gallery, this is also where Flora Skin Therapy’s first product was named after, Platinum Rose Tattoo Aftercare.

Josh Duffy, our part owner, also had a similar background as a young boy growing up in California. He too worked his way to became a world-class tattoo artist with over 25 years of experience and went on to create the famous Black Castle Art Co based in Peoria, Arizona.

Together, Josh Fields and Josh Duffy felt that throughout their tattooing careers, there was never a healthy, natural and effective tattoo glide and tattoo aftercare that was specially formulated to help tattoo needle glide, reduce swelling and bleeding during the tattoo process as well as providing an effective tattoo aftercare balm that speeds up and optimizes the tattoo healing process. So, they teamed up with talented chemists to develop the best tattoo aftercare the world has seen, the aforementioned Platinum Rose Tattoo Aftercare.

Today, Josh Fields and Josh Duffy spend their days tattooing using their very own specially formulated tattoo skin care range to ensure the canvas for their art and that of their clients heals to perfection and stands against the test of time.
